After the huge success of HUNUMAAN, new animated movie JUMBO finally hit theaters. This movies has DESI TADKA through its song "everythings gonna be alright" thait is featuring on Akshay Kumar. Jumbo, the Hindi version of Thai film Khan Kluay directed by Kompin Kemgumnird, tells the adventurous story of an elephant called Jumbo, who goes searching for his parents. The film features the voices of famous Bollywood actors like Akshay Kumar, Lara Dutta, Dimple Kapadia, Rajpal Yadav and Gulshan Grover which makes jumbo TOTALLY DESI.

Akshay KumarAkshay Kumar as Jumbo is a naughty jungle elephant who is curious about his missing father. Finally he leaves his herd to find his father. Thus begin his journey to his destiny.


Dimple KapadiaDimple Kapadia as Devi is a protective mother of Jumbo. She hates humans and is on guard every minute to secure her son from the jabs of humans. However, she could not void Jumbo's destiny of fame, love and vengeance.

Lara DuttaLara Dutta as Sonia is Jumbo's love interest. Initially Jumbo is upset with her because he thinks that she's a trickster but eventually their relationship blossoms into pure love.

Rajpal YadavRajpal Yadav as Dildaar is jumbo's partner and a messenger bird from the army. This character will surely make your kids roll with laughter.


Gulshan GroverGulshan Grover as Bakhtavar is the vilan of the story and Jumbo's only enemy. Bakhtavar is the Royal Elephant of the opposing army. He is the one who killed Jumbo's father.

AsraniAsrani as Sikandar is an aged Royal Elephant who had fought the war along with Jumbo's father. It is he who helps Jumbo make his final decision.


Story of jumbo


The story of Jumbo resolves around a blue baby elephant named Jumbo who wanders away from his parents. Young Jumbo is often taunted by the other elephants because he is fatherless. This initiates his journey in search of his father who is a war elephant for the king. Jumbo is naturally curious about his father, and he told me that his father is a war elephant for the king. So Jumbo wants to find his father. Still a young elephant, he wanders off in search of his father.

During his search, Jumbo meets up with a kindly elephant trainer, a hyperactive messenger bird and a female elephant, who becomes his sweetheart later. Subsequently, Jumbo becomes a war elephant and defends his kingdom against the evil opponents. Jumbo is soon captured by a raiding party. In trying to escape from the camp, the young elephant is befriended by a boy prince, who has been ransomed to his foes. A weakened Jumbo then comes from a village where people and elephants to cooperate. He is befriended by a beautiful young elephant cow, but was then shackled until he is Tamed.

One day king announces the need of elephants for his army. Jumbo is taken to the palace. There, he sees his mother, who calls out to him. At the sight of his mother Jumbo goes wild and tries to break free from his chains to meet her. The worthy King notices this, and remembers Jumbo from his childhood. He calms Jumbo and announces that he would be the personal war elephant of the king. In the vigorous battle between the armies, Jumbo meets a giant war elephant with fiery eyes that was responsible for the death of his father. Jumbo takes this advantage to acquit himself in battle for the glory of the kingdom and take revenge of his fathers death.

After blowing the victory trumpet, the kingdom rejoices the great triumph of history. At the end, Jumbo is released to the wild to spend the rest of his life with the ones he loves. JUMBO has the trappings of a typical Hindi film. There's revenge, romance, emotions, action... plus, the voiceovers by several top names, besides a song and scenes featuring Akshay Kumar.
