Ek vivaah aisa bhi is another product from the Rajshree production's basket. It is a simple love story of Chaandni (Eesha Koppikhar) and Prem (Sonu Sood). Chaandni belongs to a middle-class family living in old Bhopal. Her little world consists of her doing father, a sister, a brother and her music. Chaandni who is deeply attached to her school-going brother and sister. Opposite to Chaandni, Prem , a carefree prankster, belongs to a rich family. He gives preference to the music on his family business.

One day, when Chaandni practises for a state performance, she sets her eyes on prem and falls in love with him and looking forward for their engagement. But here story takes turn as Chaandni's father (Alok nath) dies and father's death comes as a big blow for her. Now, she becomes the eldest in her family. On the one hand, her Mehendi adorned hands beckon her to the dream home of her fiancee. On the other hand, her younger siblings whom she cannot take along. Chandni decides not to marry so that she can raise her little brother and sister with self respect.

At the time, Prem supports and understands her in this circumstances and stands by her through thick and thin as she goes through her struggle. He unconditionally waits for Chandni for 12 long years, until she fulfills all the responsibilities as an elder sister.

Truly, sometimes the greatest love stories are the ones that stand the test of time.

Yuvvraaj

Bollywood’s proverbial showman Subhash Ghai makes his presence again by his new movie YUVVRAAJ. Yuvvraaj is a musical story of three brothers Devan Yuvvraaj (Salman Khan), Gyanesh (Anil Kapoor) and Danny (Zayed Khan). They fight and play games with each other to inherit their father’s wealth after death of their father. But the story takes new entry when Anushka (Katrina Kaif) comes in their lives. Anushka is a beautiful and angelic girl who is passionately in love music. She believes music has much greater power than just to entertain its listeners. Anushka explain to Devan, Gyanesh and Danny the power of relationships over the power of money by using music to bind the love between them.

In Yuvvraaj, salmaan khan is a struggling singer who signs an agreement with his girlfriend's (Katrina kaif) father Dr. Banton (Boman Irani) to be a billionaire only in 40 days. To acquire huge amount, he goes through an emotional journey with his two brothers. But his two brothers make this journey more difficult for him as they are opposite to each other. In the movie, Anil kapoor's role is quite different from salmaan. There is no impact of money on him. All that he wants is only LOVE!! Zayed Khan’s character in the film is a sort of a gambler. He is a real prince who lives life super-large. Mithun Chakraborty is also there in movie with a short role.

The music of Yuvvraaj is composed by A R Rahman and lyrics are by Gulzar . All over, Yuvvraaj is a drama of money vs family. A musical treat all the way in Subhash Ghai's inimitable style.

EMI

EMI is a film based on a real life incident. The film has been directed by debutant director Saurabh Kabra. He has just depicted the pros and cons of availing loans. There are four stories in the film which run parallel and overall there is Sattarbhai (Sanjay Dutt) who runs an agency which recovers loans from defaulters.

Sattar, owner of Good Luck Recovery Agency, is the saviour and the solution for all those caught in the debt trap. From Bhaigiri to business to politics to social work -- that's how Sattar wants to progress in life. He has already graduated from Bhaigiri to business and is now eager to jump into politics.

Most sought after by banks, telecom companies and various multinationals, today his Good Luck Recovery Agency is a leading recovery agency. Sattar follows a simple rule when it comes to his business -- Loan liya hai to chukana padega.

But will Sattar succeed in using this simple principle when dealing with disparate characters and cases like Anil-Shilpa (Aashish Chowdhary-Neha Uberoi), Chandrakant (Kulbhushan Kharbanda), Ryan-Prerna (Arjun Rampal-Malaika Arora Khan) and Urmila Matondkar.

On the acting front, Sanjay Dutt remains as solacing factor turning spotlights on him and it's a great comeback after wretched results of Kidnap. Arjun Rampal is brilliant in his performance. His encounters with Sanjay Dutt are fiestas of laughter. Malaika Arora appears just for glamour quotients and she is gorgeous. Urmila Matondakar is fine, she is a mature actress. Aashish Chowdary and Neha Uberoi, they're ridiculous.

On the whole, EMI is a film that'll have most of audiences reflecting themselves on those individualistic characters in frame. Brimming up with an extraordinary theme of 'loan mania' haunting down cosmopolitan cities-to-remote villages, Saurabh Kadra draws special attention. Nevertheless, it's a terrific letdown as he doesn't tread with same efforts on scripting. Anyways EMI is a middling piece of work.

Dasvidaniya

Dasvidaniya is not a big banner film and also not have BIG NAMES of the industry. Dasvidaniya is story of a general man who leads a very mundane life. What keeps him going is his to-do-list, which is full of silly and simple things like repairing the heater etc. Dasvidaniya is starring Vinay Pathak (Amar Kaul), Ranvir Shorey (Jagtap), Rajat Kapoor (Rajiv), Neha Dhupia (Neha) and Saurabh Shukla (Boss Dasgupta). The movie is Written by Arshad Sayed. Storyline is same as "Anand" and "Kal Ho Na Ho" but director Shashant Shah presents the story in a innovative way and the performance of vinay pathak makes this movie SPLENDID!!

The story resolves around a simple, comman man Amar Kaul who is unambitious man working for a bullying boss dasgupta ( Sourabh Shukla ) and living with a mother (Sarita Joshi) who’s hard of hearing. Amar lives a dull, mundane existence. One day, He goes to doctor for check-up routine but then he finds out that he has only three months left to live. Thereafter, the simpleton draws a list of things to do before he dies thus his life changes.

Faced with death, Amar discovers life anew and transforms from a subdued and repressed person to a man who steps out to embrace and explore life and fulfill all his desires, which include taking on his snooty boss, expressing his unspoken love to his childhood sweetheart ( Neha Dhupia ), buying a colourful car, learning to play the guitar, traveling abroad, sleeping with a Russian chick, and mending a few family ties. In the first part, movie takes off very well but loses its gravity in the second half when a couple of uncalled-for deviations take the story off the course.Sarita Joshi wins your heart with her charming portrayal of a mother hooked to TV soaps. Sourabh Shukla is excellent in the role of Amar’s gluttonous boss. Rajat Kapoor is okay as Amar’s friend. Neha Dhupia is first-rate as Amar’s childhood crush.

Golmaal Returns

Now a days, tradition of sequel is going on in Bollywood rapidly. In this chain, director Rohit shetty has released new edition Golmaal Returns which is a sequel of Golmaal (2006). The difference between Golmaal and Golmaal Returns is that Shreyas Talpade replaces Sharman Joshi and Kareena kapoor, Amrita Arora, Anjana Sukhani and Celina Jaitley are new additions in Golmaal Returns.

In movie, Gopal (Ajay Devgan) is Ekta's (Kareena Kapoor) husbad. Both lives with Esha (Amrita Arora) who is Gopal's sister and Lucky (Tushaar Kapoor) who is Ekta's brother. Ekta is over suspicious wife who always has doubt on her husband as she is fond of daily saas-bahu's serials. One day Gopal get gets stuck in a yacht one night after he saves an attractive young woman Meera (Celina Jaitley) from the dreaded goons, while on his way back home from office. Due to the circumstances, both of them stay back on the yacht.

Next day, when Gopal arrives his home, his over suspicious wife Ekta suspects him of flirting around with his female employees. Then Gopal thinks that it’s difficult to convince her by telling her about the incident that actually took place the prior night and hence, he invents a story about spending the night with a fictitious friend named Anthony Gonsalves . Ekta does not believe his story as she knows that he never had a friend by that name, and hence, she decides to write to Anthony to come and visit her. At same time, Lucky tells Gopal that his wife is trying to investigate about Anthony Gonsalves. Then, One of Gopal junior, Laxman (Shreyas Talpade), helps him to pretend like Anthony, and convince Ekta that he was indeed telling the truth. Here comes twist in the story. The address on which Ekta had written a letter to Anthony turns out to be real. Meanwhile, Gopal finds out that a dead body was found at the same location where he saved Meera from the goons. The Investigating Officer Madhav (Arshad Warsi), who is Esha’s boyfriend and also hates gopal. Madhav investigates and finds out that Gopal was missing from his home that very night and that the dead person was Gopal's collegue and Gopal had threatened to kill him. Madhav also finds out that Lakshman is not the real Anthony. He asks Gopal to get Meera to the police station to prove that Gopal had been with her, not murdering his employee. In panic, his friends hire a woman called Munni who needs money to get her boyfriend Vasuli (A character from the previous Golmaal) out of jail. But Munni is kidnapped by the murderer.

Then vasuli comes to Gopal's house, where Gopal, Lakshman and Lucky learn the woman was none other than Meera . After an initial shock, they decide to go to the police station. However, Vasuli kidnaps Meera in anger, and they follow him, along Madhav, Esha and Ekta. Gopal learns that this was a plot concocted by his employer to frame him for the murder. Through a series of comic events, Ekta gets back with Gopal and they have their happy ending.

The music of Golmaal Returns is tremendous which is composed by Pritam and its lyrics is written by Sameer.

This time, Madhur focuses on glamour world through this movie. No doubt, this movie is packed with a punch to get a good response and appraisal. The movie portrays lead roles slowly moving into to the hideous, ugly world of glamor, what lies beneath those arch lights, bright flashes and glittering glamor is unfolded in known but near to life style of Madhurkar Bhandarkar.

The story of fashion resolves around an ambitious small-town girl Meghna Mathur (Priyanka Chopra) who wants to make it big in the fashion industry as a supermodel. Then, she conveys her wish to go to Mumbai to her parents (Raj babber and Kiran juneja) but strict father refuses her. Against her dad’s wishes, Meghna leaves her house with dreams in her eyes to strike it big in the modeling world from Chandigarh. In the city of dreams, she starts her struggle to reach the top of the fashion world. But she gets a good helping hand with Rohit (Ashwin Mushran) an aspiring designer who assists big shot designer Rahul Arora (Sameer Soni). Then, she meets with maanav (Arjan) who is also a struggling model. Meghna becomes good friends with Maanav. Meghna gets noticed by India’s top modeling agency Panache’s top official, Anisha Roy (Kitu) who brings her to Panache boss, Abhijit Sareen (Arbaaz khan). But there is top model of Panache who is Shonali (Kangana) but though very successful, her drug habit starts becoming a problem for her and subsequently for Panache. Due to this problem, Abhijit decides to terminate the contract with Sonali and replaces Meghna in her place. Now, Meghna is everywhere – right from being the showstopper at the biggest fashion shows in town to fashion magazine covers to print ads to TV commercials. But her success turns into arrogance and she had to sacrifice a lot including his boyfriend Manav, (Arjan Bajwa), her good friend Janet (Mugdha Godse) and she loses her respect too. She starts to see recession in her career but she is not the one to accept defeat so easily.

On the other hand, Janet who portraits an ambitious model but never succeed but married to a gay designer for an easy life. Music of movie is also good one who is composed by Salim-Sulaiman. The story starts at airpoet with a group of friends where the group is waiting for thier two friends Jai singh Rathod (Imran Khan) and Aditi Mahant (Genelia D'Souza) but the flight is late for an hour. The group includes Rotlu, Jiggy, Bombs, Shaleen, and a recent addition, Mala, arrive at the airport. This group offers to tell Mala a love story between Jai and Aditi. Jai and Aditi are very good friends however Aditi and Jai both are looking for different qualities in their future spouses--Aditi wants someone who, unlike Jai, would be able to fight to protect Aditi and Jai wants someone who, unlike Aditi, is a calm-minded girl.

The friends decide one day that since they both know each other so well, Aditi and Jai should find a match for each other. Then, Jai finds his first love, Meghana, a girl he cleverly saves from a couple of misbehaving cowboys at a club. As Jai spends more and more time with his new-found girlfriend, Aditi quickly feels the burn of losing Jai's friendship. Suddenly, Aditi herself becomes engaged to her father's friend's son, Sushant, who at first appearance, seems to be just what she's looking for he's romantic and "a stud". However, Aditi soon realizes after several dates with Sushant, that the qualities she had been looking for and what are present in Sushant are not at all what she's expected.

At the same time, Jai looses interest in Meghana when he finds out that she is not in touch with reality.Then, Jai reveals to Meghana that he is in love with Aditi, which Meghana understands as she had noticed the hidden feelings between them. In front of shushant and aditi, Meghana reveals that she had broken up with Jai because he is in love with his best friend aditi. At that time, Shushant get angry with aditi and give her a tight slap. Next day, Jai finds Aditi alone and notices the bruise on her face and demands to know if Sushant was the cause. Aditi doesn't reveal but Jai nevertheless goes to Sushant's home and for the first time, gets in a fight. Then, Police arrest jai for fight with shushant when he moves to airport to stop aditi. The two cowboy helps him to get free from jail. Then, He reaches to airport to stop aditi as she is moving to US for three long years. He expresses his love for her and begs her to stay with him. Aditi is overjoyed. The story comes back from the flashback as the flight has finally landed and Aditi and Jai arrive from their honeymoon. The movie ends happily, with the group of friends joking around and laughing.

The music of movie is absolutly fantastic that is composed by A R Rahman. Lyrics is also written by director abbas tyrewala. Over all, this movie is the coolest, warmest, funniest and happiest musical-romantic-comedy movie of the year 2008.

This movie starts with Lakhan "Lucky" Singh (Sonu Sood) is the "king" of the Australian underworld, a position which he reaches after being jailed for a crime he didn't commit. Someone hides drugs in Lucky Singh's bag, and as soon as he reaches Australia, he is caught and jailed. He takes his revenge after completing the jail term by killing those involved, and eventually he becomes the king, accompanied by his associates played by Javed Jaffrey, Neha Dhupia, Sudhanshu Pandey, Manoj Pawa and Yashpal Sharma.

Back in India, Happy Singh (Akshay Kumar) promises to bring Lakhan Singh back to his village. However, his boarding pass gets mixed up with someone else's and he ends up in Egypt, where he meets Sonia (Katrina Kaif) whom he falls in love with. After he reaches Australia, a series of comic misadventures leaves Happy without any money. He finds Lucky's house, but Lucky tells him that he cannot come back to India leaving his business and throws him out. Happy is fortunate to find warmth and affection in a elderly lady (Kirron Kher) whom Happy treats like his mother. In a strange turn of events, Lucky is saved from a life-threatening attack when Happy risks his own life, but Lucky is paralyzed and Happy becomes the new "king". When he becomes the king he tries to help Lucky's Gang turn good.

The elderly lady comes back to Happy saying that her daughter is coming back to Australia. However, her daughter does not know that, after the death of her father some time back, her mother had lost everything that they had, and is now a poor lady surviving by selling flowers. Happy gives her a home and finds out that her daughter is Sonia and that she is engaged to Puneet (Ranvir Shorey). Puneet finds out that Happy is the king of the underworld and tells Sonia, who is disappointed by this because of her hatred for criminals. Puneet hires Mika Singh (Javed Jaffrey), Lucky's brother, who is hungry to become the "king" (the only thing stopping him is his partial blindness and deafness) to kill Happy. Mika tells one of his men to kill the paralyzed Lucky, while he will kill Happy at Puneet's and Sonia's wedding after he recives his specially ordered hearing and eyesight aid. When the hitman attemts to kill Lucky, Lucky snaps out of paralysis. At the wedding, when Mika's men attack, the cowering Puneet runs away and leaves Sonia alone. Mika's men try to grab her but Happy protects her and fights them and at the end, the priest unknowingly declares Happy and Sonia married. Happy tries to ask for forgiveness for this mistake and Sonia accepts him as her husband. while they are leaving Mika encounters them, now with his aid. Lucky then comes and shocks them all. Happy tells Mika that being the "king" is no great thing. Lucky always found sadness being the king, because a true king doesn't fight for himself but for others. He also says that there is only one true king, who is God. Mika then cries and hugs his brother. A scene during the closing credits shows that Happy brings Lucky back to India.

The music is also fantabolous that is composed by Pritam and RDB. International star Snoop dogg also give his performance with Akki on title song "Sing is Kinng" that is a punjabi rock song. Lyrics is written by Mayur puri.

DOSTANA

Dostana is a romantic comedy movie directed by Tarun Mansukhani who is Karan Johar's assistant. Its star cast includes some big name of industry like Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham, Priyanka Chopra, Bobby Deol, Shilpa Shetty and Kirron Kher. it is a fun-filled and hilarious movie that revolves around two guys, who pretend to be gay lovers. One of the best parts of the movie is that it does not fall into 'gay' stereotype and gives respect and dignity to homosexuals. It is the first Bollywood film to be set entirely in Miami. It is also the first ever Bollywood film to focus on a gay relationship between its two protagonists.

Dostana is a story about two guys Sameer (Abhishek Bachchan) who born and raised in London, now in his early thirties, Sameer works in Miami, as a male nurse at St. Steve's Hospital. A goofy kind of guy, who yet has the ability to charm his way into anybody's life. Sameer is the man with the plan. Plans that he seldom thinks through its consequences and other guy is Kunal (John Abraham) who has this brooding quality about him that makes girls swoon over him, which he plays to his full advantage. He's a gorgeous fashion photographer who is pretty straight edged, responsible, and an organized man who has his life in order except for his residence permit as he is an illegal immigrant. They both bump into each other while looking for an apartment to rent and coincidentally head towards the same apartment. However, they are both thrown out because the owner wants to rent the apartment to girls only, since his niece, Neha (Priyanka Chopra) stays in that apartment alone. In the film, Priyanka plays a role of 27 year old, contemporary Indian woman. She is smart, gorgeous and stylish, working at a fashion magazine called Verve. Hard working and someone who loves her work, she longs to settle down and have a family. She is respectful, intelligent and also innocent which sometimes lands her into trouble. Sameer gets an idea that if Kunal and he pretend to be gay lovers, then the owner will agree to let them stay. Even though their plan works, the boys are in a predicament as they both fall in love with the Neha, who thinks they are gay.

The first half of the movie is fantabulous, making you laugh so much that you might end up falling on the floor. The chemistry between Abhishek and John, the USP of 'Dostana', is terrific. The second half is a bit less entertaining, as it seems stretched and could have done with some editing. The end is pretty shocking and will have its fair share of advocates and adversaries. The style quotient is high, cinematography excellent and music catchy. Bobby Deol (Abhimanyu) has played his part with élan. Boman Irani, as usual, makes you roar with laughter, while Kirron Kher plays the perfect Punjabi Mom and Sushmita Mukherjee is fantastic.Also, Shilpa sheety makes her guest apperence fantastic in the movie. The music of Dostana is composed by Vishal-Shekher and its lyrics written by Vishal Dadlani and Anvita Dutt Guptan.

Hello movie is based on the author Chetan Bhagat's best selling novel "One Night @ call-centre". After the popularity of chetan's novel among the youth, Bollywood film makers have taken up bhagat's theme by making 'HELLO'. It is a multi starring film as there are many characters in the novel. In this film, Salmaan Khan is playing the narrator's role who delayed from flying to his next concert due to some technical problem and while waiting in the lounge, he meets a beautiful girl (Katrina Kaif ). Then she tells him that she’ll tell him a story only if he agrees to make a film on it.

Hello… is a tale about the event that happen one night at a cell center. Told through the view of the Protagonist, Shayam Mehra (Sharman Joshi), it a story of almost lost love, thwarted ambitions, absence of family affection, pressures of a patriarchal set up, and the work environment of a globalize office. A wednesday is a film about the terrorism that is the biggest current issue all over the world today.Director Neeraj Pandey takes terrorism as theme for film and give it a new climax in the end which is simply REMARKABLE!!The story resolves around a 'AAM AADMI'(Naseeruddin Shah) who suddenly gets sick of living his life in fear and decides to teach everyone a lesson.

Beginning with Naseeruddin Shah planting bombs in the most densely populated part of the city.Prakash Rathod (Anupam Kher), Commissioner of Mumbai Police, gets a call demanding the release of four terrorists in lieu of information on bombs that the man has planted in various parts of Mumbai. At first, Prakash suspects it to be a crank call, but his doubts are dispelled once he actually finds a bomb planted in the police station right opposite the Police Headquarter.Prakash Rathod is not the type to give up easily. He gets a team of his best men together and taps all his resources. He even hires a young hacker to help his team to trace the calls and also the location of the anonymous caller. Time passes by, but no concrete results are evident. Eventually, Prakash Rathod decides to hand over the militants to the anonymous caller. It is then that events take a bizarre turn.

For this mission,Rathore chose his two best officers 'Ariff Khan' (Jimmy Shergill) and 'Jai'(Aamir Bashir).'Naina Roy'(Deepal shaw) also plays an important role of a Television journalist. A wednesday offers you twist after twist, throws challenge after challenge in those 100 minutes.No sub-plots, no songs, no unwanted masala, no unnecessary tracks -- A wednesday has a story to tell and it tells most effectively.

The climax is an absolute knock-out with an accolade-winning speech by Naseer who becomes a flag-bearer for all those nameless, ordinary people battling with this modern-day scourge, the world over. The highpoint of the film is the class act by the two stalwarts of the industry: Naseer and Anupam pitch in riveting performances as the shuffling, seemingly inconsequential, nameless bomber and the no-nonsense cop. Add to this some finely nuanced acts by Jimmy Shergill and Aamir Bashir and you have a topical, gritty, high-adrenalin drama.

On the whole, A wednesday is a far superior film -- in its content as well as end result!!
