Ek vivaah aisa bhi is another product from the Rajshree production's basket. It is a simple love story of Chaandni (Eesha Koppikhar) and Prem (Sonu Sood). Chaandni belongs to a middle-class family living in old Bhopal. Her little world consists of her doing father, a sister, a brother and her music. Chaandni who is deeply attached to her school-going brother and sister. Opposite to Chaandni, Prem , a carefree prankster, belongs to a rich family. He gives preference to the music on his family business.
One day, when Chaandni practises for a state performance, she sets her eyes on prem and falls in love with him and looking forward for their engagement. But here story takes turn as Chaandni's father (Alok nath) dies and father's death comes as a big blow for her. Now, she becomes the eldest in her family. On the one hand, her Mehendi adorned hands beckon her to the dream home of her fiancee. On the other hand, her younger siblings whom she cannot take along. Chandni decides not to marry so that she can raise her little brother and sister with self respect.
At the time, Prem supports and understands her in this circumstances and stands by her through thick and thin as she goes through her struggle. He unconditionally waits for Chandni for 12 long years, until she fulfills all the responsibilities as an elder sister.
