Hello


Hello movie is based on the author Chetan Bhagat's best selling novel "One Night @ call-centre". After the popularity of chetan's novel among the youth, Bollywood film makers have taken up bhagat's theme by making 'HELLO'. It is a multi starring film as there are many characters in the novel. In this film, Salmaan Khan is playing the narrator's role who delayed from flying to his next concert due to some technical problem and while waiting in the lounge, he meets a beautiful girl (Katrina Kaif ). Then she tells him that she’ll tell him a story only if he agrees to make a film on it.

Hello… is a tale about the event that happen one night at a cell center. Told through the view of the Protagonist, Shayam Mehra (Sharman Joshi), it a story of almost lost love, thwarted ambitions, absence of family affection, pressures of a patriarchal set up, and the work environment of a globalize office. Shyam is losing his girlfriend Priyanka Kapoor (Gul panag) because his career is going nowhere as he trudges his way around in a cell center. His girl friend, Priyanka, is also an agent like him at the call center who is about to be snatched by an NRI techno geek. There is also the aspiring model, Esha Singh (Isha Koppikar), who is hoping for the break that seems to be always already eluding her and the man about town, Varun Malhotra (Sohail Khan), who is into well, things. The housewife, Radhika Jha (Amrita Arora), who is constantly at the receiving end of her mother-in-law and a beleaguered grandfather. Military Uncle V. P. Chauhan (Sharat Saxena), who has been barred from interacting with his grandchild make up the rest of the cell agents who see their worlds crumbling around them as the decisions of right sizing are conveyed by Subash Bakshi (Dilip Tahi), the boss. It is a night when dreams will finally crumble. Or will it? For there is that call from God. Narrated as a tale within a tale as a beautiful woman meets the hauteur narrator and promises him a story on the condition that he has to narrate it further. Hello, based on Chetan Bhagat’s one night @ the call center, is the one remarkable story from Tales from a Thousand and one globalizing, urban, Indian Nights.

Hello’ is directed by Salman’s brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri . The film has music by Sajid-Wajid and lyrics by Jalees Sherwani.A special song called ‘Bang Bang’ is pictured on Salmaan.
