As the new year start, bollywood welcome the new year by releasing its big budget movies. In the very first month of the year, Akshay Kumar and Deepika Padukone starrer Chandni Chowk to China is set to release on january 16, 2009. The movie is directed by Nikhil Advani who did well in Kal ho na ho.

Movie is all about a simple cook from Chandni Chowk mistaken for a rebirth of an ancient peasant warrior by residents of an suppressed Chinese village. One of the sources said a "heavy dose of comedy and breathtaking locales" like the Great Wall of China were the highlights of the film apart from the Kung Fu.
