Sikander releases on 24 April

The story of the forthcoming movie resolves around a 14 year old boy Sikander raza who live in Kashmir. Sikander has lost his parents 10 years back. Now, after his parents, his uncle and aunt take care him. All Sikandar's desires revolve around the happiness of his foster parents and his fevourite sports Football. One day, on his way home from a school football match, Sikandar finds a gun lying on the path. Despite admonishments by his newly made school friend, the 14 year old Nasreen, Sikandar picks up the gun, and thus begins a journey into the darker side of his nature. Now, at this point movie brings twist in the story. The quiet yet strong Nasreen becomes Sikandar's conscience keeper. She tries to dissuade him from giving in to the lure of the gun. However, all is not what it seems. Sikandar gets embroiled further and further in situations beyond his control, and people get killed. At first it seems that the happenings occurring alongside Sikandar's predicament are not connected. But, as layer upon layer unravels, it becomes clear that Sikandar is the innocent victim in a game being played out between the militants, the army, the peace bartering politicians and the religious heads of the little Kashmiri town. The movie also starcast Sanjay Suri and Madhvan. Sikander releases on April 14, 2009.

8X10 Tasveer releases on 3 April

8 X 10 Tasveer is a Bollywood thriller film starring Akshay Kumar and Ayesha Takia in the lead roles. It is is directed by Nagesh Kukunoor, and produced by Percept Picture Company.

8 X 10 revolves around Jai, a man who is powered with supernatural powers. He can tell about the past of any person by just touching a thing that belongs to the person. He uses this power to help people. When his father, Jatin, dies in a mysterious boating accident, Jai's suspicion is aroused by the appearance of an oddball detective, Happi. The only article that can help him in his investigation is an 8 X 10 photograph taken just minutes before the Accident by his mother Savitri that shows Jatin surrounded by his best friend and lawyer, Anil, his adopted son, Adit and younger brother, Sundar. Jai decides to use this photograph to go into the past to unravel the mystery surrounding Jatin's death. As he discovers clues he realizes that his father was actually murdered and that everyone on the boat had a motive. Now on a mission to unmask the killer, he undertakes the dangerous journey of visiting the past repeatedly.

How will he interpret the indications given by supernatural powers, that is the story of the film. The film features Sharmila Tagore, Javed Jaffrey, Anant Mahadevan, Girish Karnad, Benjamin Gilani, Rushad Rana, Andrea Tully, and Pia Shah in supporting roles.

The buzz about the movie is that It was previously called Tasveer, but changed due to the director's insistence that the title was jinxed. 8x10 Tasveer releases on 3 April 2009.

Aasma - sky is the limit

Aasam - sky is the limit is a story of a group which comprises of aspiring actors including Summi (Hrishitaa Bhatt), Dia (Nauheed Cyrusi), Bharat (Shub), Kartik (Hamid Khan), Malini (Mansi Dovhal) and Ranjit (Ravi Gossain). They all enjoy their life with a lot of fun. But somewhere, they realize dat this is not their cup of tea and they want more from their life. So they set a mission : a mission to touch the sky with their brilliance and sheer dedication. Aasma is a story of the people and for the people who have faith in spite of the agonies and tribulations that life presents to each of them. Along their mission, they face a lot of hardships, when their main sponsor (Sachin Khedekar) backs out. They try to pool in resources, but in the midst of it all, the protagonist is diagnosed with HIV. Through their insecurities, anxieties and dilemmas they find that friendship and dedication leads them to newer heights, beyond the darkness that temporarily blinds each of them.

Aasma is a youth based movie which represents how can youth express their view towards the whole world? Although, movie is being released alongside two major films RAAZ- THE MYSTERY CONTINUES... and the award winning and Oscar nominated SLUMDOG MILLIONARE. But still, Director Rohit Nayyar is hoping that their film will be appreciated by India. Apart from the storyline, music of Aasma is quite good that is composed by Afsar-Sajid. On the whole, Aasma personifies the saying- where there is a will, there is a way. Aasma hits the theatres on january 23, 2009.

OH, My God!!

After the stupendous success of “Bheja Fry” and "Dasvidaniya" Vinay Pathak returns in a lead role in this feel-good comedy “Oh My God”. Bollywood Movie Oh My God is produced by Amit Kapoor on behalf of Zee Limelight. The Movie is directed by Saurabh Srivastava. He has stepped into direction with this film.

Star cast of OH, My God :

Vinay Pathak - Rajendra Daubey is a simple man with big dreams and ambitions. He comes from a simple middle class family and wants to make it in life through his sheer and hard work. He is a hardcore fan of Dhirubhai Ambani and wants to become as success full as he was. He has a sweet wife Suman. Rajendra is a straightforward and focused and have a plan for everything in life. At times he is eccentric but his innocence and sweetness makes him lovable.

Saurabh Shukla - God is different from the usual God that we know. He is lovable, sweet and funny character. Like a normal person, he also gets bored and irritated of the world that he has created. In spite of being the almighty with special powers, he also gets confused with normal human-beings. but finally, he proves his smartness and intelligence making each and everyone say - "OH, My God!!"

Divya Dutta - Suman Dubey is Rajendra's wife. she is very sweet and simple lady. she is very happy in her life and Unlike rajendra, she is satisfied and has no big dreams. But apart from all, she stands by her husband and supports him in whatever he does and desires from his life. other than rajendra, Suman has full faith in God.

Story :

The story of "Oh, my God" resolves around a simple man Rajendra Dubey, a salesman with big dreams, a hard core Dhiru Bhai Ambani fan, who wants to make it big in life but through ethical ways. Suman Dubey is Rajendra's patient and loving wife, who stands by her husband at all times. As Rajendra continues to fail in his various money-making schemes, Suman pleads with God to help her husband. God tries to help Rajendra become successful but is constantly frustrated as Rajendra fails to recognise the opportunities. First-time director Sourabh Srivasatav tells a funny, touching story of a simple man who, with a little help from God, needs to come to terms with his big dreams and find balance in his life.

Nice morals, neat message, tedious film...Oh my God, is that really Vinay Pathak and Sourabh Shrivasta! Hard to believe, since the two actors have almost always delighted you with their slice-of-life portrayals. On the whole, as a debutant director Saurabh Srivastva has chosen a weak story to direct. Oh My God has a weak script and has a very slow pace in the beginning that tapers the effect to an extent. This is a onetime watch movie.
